This Combo is our answer to those who want a UK Series design in a home or 'grab & go' gigging amp ! It features the same preamp design as the UK '67/'68 mated to a Clear/Articulate 6V6 push pull fixed bias output stage, producing a strong 20 watts.

PERPLEX'D 'Brownout Combo'
The Perplex’d BROWNOUT Combo has 2 "completely" independent channels.
The Clean/Crunch channel has a 2 pos. Gain switch plus 3 way Bright switch. The Distortion channel has a 2 pos. Gain switch plus 3 way Bright switch also. The design of the channels is very close to the Perplex'd S2 but tailored for working in an open back cabinet. Plus - the 'brownout' factor producing 40 watts. As an added bonus there is a half power switch rendering 20 watts power out, making this an extremely versatile small / medium club amp all the way to large venues. Of course - it has what we feel are the best Masters out there, producing incredible feel and tone for at home use.
This combo is loaded with the Celestion Alnico Cream (90 watts) producing astonishing home / recording / live tones.
